Instructions for
Stretch & Company's
"Bear with Heart"
By Stretch The Balloon Dude

This is a really cute bear in a heart made mostly from from 360s that is great for a delivery, display, table decoration or special balloon. It uses six 360s (3 violet, 1 white, 1 pink and 1 blue) and the tip of a black 260. With a completion time of less than 10 minutes, it is fairly quick, but still large, impressive and fun.
Instructions:
1. Inflate all of the violet 360s leaving about 3 inches of uninflated tail on the end. Inflate the pink 360 leaving just enough tail to tie it into a loop. Inflate the blue 360 leaving about 2 inches uninflated. Inflate the white 360 leaving about 5 inches of uninflated tail and pull a small, round bubble on the end of the black 260 and tie a knot at the base of the bubble. 2. Start with one of the violet 360s and make a 4 inch bubble followed by a small round bubble. Make the round bubble into a pinch twist. (You are making a bear head without the nose out of this balloon.)

3. Make about a 3 - 3 1/3 inch bubble followed by another small round bubble and then make the small round bubble into a pinch twist. 4. Make another 4 inch bubble and twist the knot at the end of the balloon into the end of this bubble completing the outline of your bear head.

5. Twist a 7 inch bubble followed by a small round bubble and then make the small round bubble into a pinch twist to begin your bear's body. 6. Make another 7 inch bubble and twist the end of this bubble into the base of the bear's head and then pop off any excess bubble and tie off the end of this balloon.

7. Tie the small bubble in the black 260 to the nozzle end of the white 360 and then twist off about an 8 or 9 inch bubble. 8. Twist the white 360 at the base of this bubble into the base of the bear head in the violet 360. Poke the end of the bubble through the hole in the middle of the bear head to complete the face of your bear.

9. Make a bubble the same length as the two violet bubbles in the bear's body and twist the end of it into the pinch twist at the bottom of the body. Twist about a 1 1/2 inch bubble for the bear's tail, pop off any excess balloon and tie off the bear's tail. 10. Take one of your remaining violet 360s and twist an 8 inch bubble followed by a small round bubble.

11. Make the small round bubble into a pinch twist. 12. Twist another 8 inch bubble and then pop off the excess balloon and tie the end of the 8 inch bubble you just made. These are your bear's arms.

13. Attach the arms to your bear by twisting them into the base head and positioning the pinch twist on the back side of your bear's body. 14. Take the last violet 360 and tie it into a loop and then twist the middle of the loop to for two equal sized bubbles.

15. Form two large fold twists by bringing the two twisted point to meet and twisting them together. These wil be your bear's legs. 16. Attach the legs by twisting the middle of them into the pinch twist at the bottom of the bear's body. Position the pinch twist between the two fold twists on the bottom with the bubble for the tail on the backside of the bear. Add artwork and your bear is complete.

17.Take your blue 360 and twist a small bubble on the nozzle end and make it into a pinch twist. Make another small bubble and make it into a pinch twist so you now have two pinch twists on the end of this balloon. Make a 1 1/2 inch bubble and make two more pinch twists immediately after this bubble and position them as shown in picture 17. 18. Bring the end of balloon around and twist it into the middle of the second pair of pinch twists forming a large loop. Position the pinch twists so that one is on one side of the loop perpendicular to the loop and the bubble with the other two pinch twists is on the opposite side of the loop. Position the second pinch twist so that it lines up with the loop and forces the bubble with the two pinch twists to stand up when the loop is layed on a flat surface as shown in picture 18.

19. Take the pink 360 and tie it into a loop by tying the the nozzle end to the tail and then form the resulting loop into a heart. 20. Attach the bottom of the heart to the two pinch twists on the top of the bubble sticking up from the large loop as shown in picture 20.

21. Spread the large loop in the blue balloon base and position the bears legs so that he is standing inside the loop behind the heart as shown in picture 21. You may use glue dots to hold the bear in place by placing one at each of the points where his legs touch the inside of the blue loop.
