Instructions for
Stretch & Company's
"Crazy Bug Hat Recipe"
By Stretch The Balloon Dude

The Crazy Bug Hat is a silly hat that is fast and fun, but really makes an impression due to it's cuteness

Instructions:
1. You will need a 260 with about 2 inches uninflated, a 160 with about 5 or 6 inches uninflated, and a 5" round inflated to about the size of a ping pong ball.

2. Start by placing the tip of your index finger on the knot of the 260 and pushing it back into the inflated balloon to about your second knuckle. 3. Grab the knot from the outside with your other hand, remove your finger, and make a tulip twist.

4. Make a small round bubble and then twist it into a pinch twist. 5. Make another small round bubble and make it into a second pinch twist. Position the two pinch twists on opposite sides of the balloon as shown.

6. Make about a 2 inch bubble followed by a small round bubble and then make the small bubble into a pinch twist. 7. Measure around the child's head with the remaining length of balloon until it crosses the last pinch twist you just made. Twist the balloon into the pinch twist where it overlaps to make a large loop that will go on the child's head.

8. Take the 5" round and divide it into two equally sized bubbles making sure the knot is in the middle between the two bubbles to make the eyes. Twist the eyes into the pinch twist that is at the base of the tulip twist and position the eyes on the opposite side of the pinch twist as shown. 9. Take the 160 and start by making a 1" bubble followed by a small round bubble. Twist the round bubble into a pinch twist and then make another small round bubble and twist it into a pinch twist. Position the two pinch twists on opposite sides of the balloon as shown.

10. Make two 1 inch bubbles and then twist the end of the second bubble into the middle of the 2 pinch twists to complete your bug's first hand. 11. Soften the remaining balloon by squeezing it and then make about an 8 inch bubble followed by a small round bubble. Twist the small round bubble into a pinch twist.

12. Make another small round bubble and then make it into a pinch twist. Position the two pinch twists on opposite sides and then make two 1 inch bubbles. Twist the end of the second 1 inch bubble into the middle of the 2 pinch twists and position as shown. 13.Twist a 1 inch bubble in the remaining balloon and then pop of the excess and tie the balloon off to complete your second hand. Divide the long bubble into 2 equal portions and twist this into the 2 pinch twists on the body of the bug to give it arms as shown. Add art work and your done.
