Instructions for
Stretch & Company's
"Spider Bracelet"
By Stretch The Balloon Dude

Labor: About 2 Minutes

Materials:

1-5" Round
3-160 (matching color)

This is a fairly simple and quick little spider that can stand alone, or be used as a cute bracelet that's a lot of fun, especially around Halloween.

Instructions:
1. Inflate the round to about 3 inches in diameter and inflate the 160 leaving about 5 - 6 inches of tail on the end. 2. Start by twisting about a 2 inch bubble on the 160. Now make a small round bubble and twist it into a pinch twist.

3. Repeat step 2 by making another bubble the same size as the first and then maiking a second small round bubble and twisting it into a pinch twist. This is your spider's first leg. 4. Take the 5 inch round and divide it into two bubbles by twisting off about a third of it on the nozzle end. The small bubble will be your spider's head and the large bubble will be the body.

5. Take your 160 and attach it to the spider's body by twisting the second pinch twist into the middle of the two bubbles on the 5 inch round. 6. Twist 4 bubbles in the remaining 160 that are all about 2 inches long. Twist the end of the last bubble into the middle of spider's body where you first attached the 160.

7. You have now made 2 more of your spider's legs. The pinch twist should be on the opposite side of the spider's body from the legs. 8. Twist 2 bubbles in the remaining 160 that are about 2 inches long and then bring the end of the last bubble to the middle twist in the first pair of legs.

9. Lock the bubbles into place by bringing the end of the 160 around and through the first pair of legs. 10. Twist 2 more 2 inch bubbles in the remaining 160 and then twist the end of the second bubble into the middle of the 2 bubbles on the 5 inch round.

11. You have now completed 2 more of your spider's legs. 12. Repeat step 8 by twisting 2 more bubbles in the remaining 160 and then locking them in place by twisting them into the end of the other legs as in step 9.

13. This completes the 6 legs that will make up the bracelet part of your spider. 14. Make another 2 inch bubble followed by a small bubble, and twist the small bubble into a pinch twist. Twist a final 2 inch bubble and then pop off any remaining 160 and tie the end to complete your eighth and final leg.

15. Draw your face on the small bubble and your spider is complete. 16. Divide the 6 legs on the bottom of the spider into 2 sets of 3 legs and then spread them apart to put the bracelet on the child's arm.
