Instructions
for
Stretch & Company's
"Puppy Recipe"
By Stretch The Balloon
Dude
|
This is a cute
little puppy that uses 2 balloons and is quick to make.
Great for restaurants, birthday parties or even line work.
|
|
|
| 1.
Start with a dark brown and light brown 260. Leave about
2 inches in-inflated on the light brown and about 3 inches
un-inflated on the dark brown. |
2.
You will start by making the ears from the dark brown
balloon by twisting about a 3 inch bubble followed by
a small round bubble. Twist the small round bubble into
a pinch twist. |
|
|
| 3.
Make another small round bubble and make it into a pinch
twist as well. Twist another bubble the same size as the
first bubble. Pop off the excess balloon making sure to
keep it inflated and tie off both the second 3 inch bubble
and the left-over dark brown balloon. |
4.
Take the light brown balloon and start by twisting a 2
- 3 inch bubble. Twist 2 soft 3 inch bubbles and lock
twist them together like a pair of ears. |
|
|
| 5.
Make both of these bubbles into fold twists by bringing
the two twisted points together and twisting one of the
two bubbles around several times. |
6.
Make about a 1 1/2 to 2 inch bubble in the light brown
balloon and then twist the two pinch twists in the dark
brown balloon onto the end of this bubble. Twist another
bubble in the light brown balloon the same size as the
one you just made and then bring the end down and twist
it into the middle of the two fold twists you made in
step 5. Your dog's head is now complete. |
|
|
| 7.
Take the remainder of the dark brown balloon and make
a small round bubble in the end of it. Twist this bubb
into a pinch twist and then grab your dog's head and twist
about a 1 inch bubble in the light brown balloon to form
a neck. Take the pinch twist on the end of the dark brown
balloon you just made and twist it into the base of the
dog's neck. |
8.
Make your dog's front legs by twisting two 2 inch bubbles
in the light brown balloon and forming a lock twist by
twisting the end of the second bubble into the pinch twist
at th base of the dog's neck. |
|
|
| 9.
Twist about a 3 - 4 inch bubble in both balloons and then
twist the ends of these two bubbles together to form you
dog's body. |
10.
Twist a small round bubble in the dark brown balloon and
then twist it into a pinch twist. |
|
|
| 11.
Make your dog's back legs by twisting two 2 inch bubbles
in the light brown balloon and forming a lock twist by
twisting the end of the second bubble into the pinch twist
you just made in the dark brown balloon. Add artwork and
your puppy dog is complete. |
