1.
Attach the conduit to the base plate. Cover the conduit with
the 646Qs. To do this, cut the necks off of two 646Qs. Trim
the other end off of one of the balloons, so it’s open
on both ends. (Repeat this step with more 646Qs as needed for
the length of the conduit.) Stretch the 646Q with two openings
onto the conduit, and pull it down to cover the bottom. Reinforce
with clear packing tape. Stretch the other 646Q over the conduit
to cover the top. Reinforce with tape where it meets the other
646Q.
2.
Make four 4-balloon clusters using the following balloons for
each: • Two 11" Yellow Orange Rainbow SuperAgates
sized to 9" • Two 11" Red Orange Rainbow
SuperAgates sized to 9"
3.
Make five 4-balloon clusters using the following balloons for
each: • Two 5" Mocha Brown sized to 4"
• Two 5" Onyx Black sized to 4"
4.
Wrap the 9" clusters and 4" clusters onto the conduit
starting at the bottom in the order shown in the picture. Rotate
each cluster so that it nests within the previous cluster.
5.
Helium inflate an 18" Microfoil and tie an uninflated 260Q
to its tail. Pull the 260Q down through the top three clusters
and tie a knot around the center of the cluster. Wrap the excess
260Q around the clusters to secure.
6.
Place two Hang Tabs with the adhesive strips facing each other
so you can see through the hole. Separate the adhesive pieces
while keeping the holes together to make a “T” shape.
Remove the paper backing from the adhesive. Place the adhesive
strips on top of the Microfoil balloon so that the strips lie
on the front center and back center. Reinforce the strips with
clear packaging tape.
7.
Helium inflate another Microfoil and tie a 260Q around the tail,
then tie the 260Q onto the hole in the adhesive strip.
8.
Repeat Steps 6 and 7 to add one more Microfoil to the tower.
9.
Make two 4-balloon clusters using the remaining 5" Mocha
Brown latex sized to 4". Wrap a cluster between each of
the Microfoils.
10.
Place the brown base cover over the base plate.

Instructions for the
"Love Is In The Air" By Jan Iiams, CBA
INTRODUCTION: This adorable air-filled arrangement
is perfect for do-ahead arrangements that can be brought to
the venue ready to display on tables. The design is enchanting,
profitable and has high visual interest above typical bouquets. APPLICATIONS: • Wedding receptions
• Showers
• Mother’s Day
• In pink or pale blue - New Birth
• Anniversary PRO TIP: Prepare the design 2-3 days
ahead and store in a plastic bag to protect the balloons from
oxidizing. Check early in the day of the event to make sure
balloons are still perfect.
Materials and Equipment:
• 2 x 15cm (6”) Fashion
Pink Hearts
• 2 x 15cm (6”) Crystal
Clear Hearts
• 5 x 12cm (5”) Pearl
White rounds
• 1 Fashion Pink 360
• 4 feet #9 ribbon
• Curling ribbon
• Butterfly
accessories
• 91cm (3’)
small aluminum tubing (plumbing supplies)
• 15cm (6”)
Lomey Dish or ceramic saucer
• 2-3 silk
roses
• Clear tape
• Low Temperature
Glue Gun
Step By Step:
1.
Uncoil the aluminum tubing slightly by lifting upward for a
soft gentle curved line and cut to about 91cm (3’) long.
Place tape over both sharp ends.
2.
Pull a 360 over the tubing, stretching to cover and tie a knot
at one end. Trim off excess neck.
3.
Coil one end of the covered tube around the outside edge of
the Lomey dish or saucer and secure in place with clear packing
tape.
4.
Double stuff a 15cm (6”) Fashion Pink heart into a 15cm
(6”) Crystal Clear heart and air fill. Secure the balloon
to the edge of the aluminum tubing at the top with a low temperature
glue gun.
5.
Create a second double stuffed heart and secure it with low
temperature glue to the base near the area where the aluminum
tubing ascends.
6.
Create loops of ribbon and glue into place under the top heart
balloon, leaving some ribbon to tendril down the aluminum tubing.
Add loops and tendrils to the base with a glue gun allowing
some ribbon to tendril up the tubing.
7.
Add a silk blossom at the top of the design and another to fill
space on the base.
8.
Air fill the 12cm (5”) Pearl White rounds to a variety
of small sizes all about 2-3 inches. Squeeze the air into the
bulb of the balloon for a shinier texture. Place them at the
top and base to fill spaces attractively.
9.
To finish, add butterfly accents to the hearts on the base and
at the top of the design.
CONCLUSION
If you pick up the arrangements
after the event to be used again, simply remove the balloons
and press
downward on the aluminum frame to compress almost flat for easy
storage.
