Instructions for the

“Elegant Air-Filled
Wedding Centerpiece"
By Sue Marston-Weston, CBA

Materials:

16" Just Married ARP Diamond Clear
5” Just Married ARP Diamond Clear
5” Silver
5” Pearl White
5” Pearl Magenta
4” Silver Microfoil Hearts
160Q Silver
11” Clear Lomey Dish
31” Lomey Pole
Silk Flowers
Organza Ribbon
Equipment:
Dual Split Second Sizer with Insider
Balloon Stuffing Tool or New 2007 Air   Force 4 Inflator with Air   Force 4   Insider Stuffing Tool
A Precision Air is great for speed &   accuracy when preparing duplets!

Instructions:

1. Stick Lomey pole to Lomey dish using either a cool glue gun or Lomey glue.
2. You now need to create 3 different 4 - balloon cluster sizes;
cluster 1 = 4” or 10.5cm
cluster 2 = 31/2 “ or 9cm
cluster 3 = 3” or 7.5cm
make a note of the settings on your Dual Sizer or Precision Air Inflator for quick reference. Please note you can use the balloons in any combination, there is no set pattern, for this design the Pearl Magenta is stuffed inside the Pearl Silver to create a unique colour.
3. Make 1 x cluster 1, 2 x cluster 2 and 2 x cluster 3, you also need to inflate 2 further balloons at cluster 1 size, tie these separately, then using half of
one of the silver 160Q balloons (uninflated), secure these 2 balloons together but allow a stretch between the 2 balloons, this will now be known as the stretch duplet!
4. To prepare the base start with cluster 1, then add 1 x cluster 2 and then 1 x cluster 3, finally slide in the ‘stretch duplet’ from the top cluster down to the base cluster, the duplet should sit neatly at the base, extending the base outward at the sides.
5. At the top of the Lomey pole add the remaining 2 clusters, place the larger cluster at the top.
6. Now prepare 16” ‘Bubbles in Balloon’, ideally working with a Conwin Insider Tool. Once filled with 5” balloons, fully inflate the 16” balloon with air and knot, tying the remaining half of the silver 160Q into the knot, this
will allow you to secure the 16” balloon to the top cluster with ease.
7. To ‘finish’ the design you can add a number of finishing touches: silk flowers, organza bow, small balloon bubbles and a really nice finishing touch is to add a ‘string of pearl’ 160Q bubbles that can link the base to the top of the design.

Instructions for the

"Showers of Flowers Mom"
By Jan Iiams, CBA

INTRODUCTION:
This design is big, bright and full of harmonious elements that increase the visual value over standard designs using 91cm (36") foils and standard latex balloons. Best of all, it’s a labor friendly arrangement that goes together fast, fast, fast! That means more profit for you.

APPLICATIONS:
• Deliveries for virtually any occasion with   simple color and message changes.
• Merchandising - this long lasting   arrangement makes a bold statement for   seasonal retail promotions.
• This technique even fills space in a   beautiful way for décor and adjusts easily   to any ceiling height.

PRO TIP:
Printed latex balloons add interest and visual value so you can charge more even though you’ve only added pennies to the cost of the elements.

Materials and Equipment:
1 x 91cm (36") Showers of Flowers Mom foil balloon (83503)
1 x 46cm (18") Showers of Flowers Mom foil balloon (86503)
8 x 15cm (6") Deluxe Fuchsia LINK-O-LOON®s
4 x 15cm (6") Fashion Bubble Gum Pink LINK-O-LOON®s
6 x 12cm (5") Pastel Yellow rounds
8 x 28cm (11") latex print rounds
12 x 15cm (6") Deluxe Fuchsia hearts
2-3 un-inflated 260s
1 Heavy bouquet weight
4 x Clik-Clik Adhesive Hang Tabs

Step By Step:
1. Air fill two 28cm (11") latex prints and tie the necks together to form a duplet. Create a second identical duplet and twist the necks of both duplets together to make a cluster of four. Tie on a heavy bouquet weight under the cluster.
2. Air fill a chain of six LINK-O-LOON®s alternating colors as follows; two Deluxe Fuchsia, two Fashion Bubble Gum Pink and two Deluxe Fuchsia with 12cm (5") Fuchsia rounds at each end. Repeat to create a second chain in the same color placement.
3. Air fill four 12cm (5") Pastel Yellow latex duplets sized to 8cm (3").
4. Center two Adhesive Hang Tabs onto the top of the 46cm (18") foil one on one side, and a second one on the opposite side of the balloon. Make sure to line up the holes in the tabs at the edge of the balloon. Air fill the foil balloon and tie the neck of the foil into the center of the air filled 28cm
(11") cluster.
5. Pinch the 15cm (6") LINK-O-LOON® chains together to form a flower shape as shown and wrap the 8cm (3") duplets around the knots of every other LINK-O-LOON® set to create flower centers front and back. Continue to make a total of three flowers.
6. Tie a 260 to the Adhesive Hang Tab at the top of the 46cm (18") foil balloon and tie the 260 to the center of the lowest LINK-O-LOON® flower, leaving a little “stretch” to the 260.
7. Helium fill the 91cm (36") foil balloon and tie a 260 in the middle onto the foil neck. Tie the 260 tails to the center of the top LINK-O-LOON® flower leaving a bit more “stretch” to insert two balloon clusters later.
8. Treat two 28cm (11") latex prints with Ultra HI-FLOAT, fill with helium and tie the necks together to form a duplet. Repeat and twist the necks together of both duplets to make a cluster of four. Stretch the 260 between the 91cm (36") foil and the top LINK-O-LOON® flower gently apart and slide the 28cm (11") cluster onto the 260 and wrap once to hold in place.
9. Create three small clusters of 15cm (6") hearts and place them under the 46cm (18") foil, another set on top of the foil balloon as shown and under the top 28cm (11") cluster as pictured.
CONCLUSION
The design is very long-lasting when using Ultra Hi-FLOAT in the top cluster since the rest of the latex balloons are filled with air. This means most of the elements can be assembled ahead of time and simply brought on site to set in place. Optional treatments include treated 91cm (36") latex or large helium shapes at the top. Whether you use this for décor or delivery, this design is a sure winner.
