Instructions for the
“Dazzling Diamonds"
By Cam Woody, CBA, and Kathy O’Brien,
CBA,
of Pioneer Balloon Company
Labor: About 20 Minutes |
|
Materials:
|
•
9 - 40" “Starpoint Metallic Silver” Microfoil®
Shapes (15707) |
| •
Monofilament Line |
| •
Rubber Bands |
| |
| Tips: |
•Use this design as a
backdrop or hang several around the room to fill large spaces.
• Add more Decor Shapes as needed to create a larger
pattern. Combining “Taper” Decor Shapes will create
additional unique designs.
• Accessorize the Microfoils by adding eye-catching
new Color Curls™ to the points.
• Add value by wrapping small 5" latex clusters
around the points of the Microfoils.
• Cut off the neck of a latex balloon and use it as
a rubber band. |
| Instructions: |
| 1.
Start with the Starpoint Shape that will be in the center of
the diamond pattern. Bring the points of three more Starpoints
together with the top point of the first so that all four points
meet. Use a rubber band to gather the points together, avoiding
a bulky knot. |
| 2.
Repeat Step 1 to connect three more Starpoints at the
bottom point of the center Shape. |
| 3.
Add another Starpoint on each side of the center Shape to complete
the diamond pattern. Use a rubber band to gather the four points
where they all meet on either side of the center Shape. |
| 4.
For the outer edge of the diamond pattern where only two points
are meeting, simply tie them together using the excess foil
on each point. |
|
5. To hang from the ceiling, tightly tie a piece of monofilament
to the Shape at the top of the design. |
